2013 – My Take

If anyone asks me about 2013, all I can say is that this year is the closest the United States has come to a statist-inspired big brother government tyranny since the inception of the republic.

Between the self serving political garbage in Washington and the high-tech Orwellian nightmare solutions that have massive side-effects that everyone ignores, there exists the tatters of the American Dream and quickly fading few remaining civil rights guaranteed by an often ignored document called the constitution.

What is the old phrase? “This year was bad and the next will probably be worse.”

Happy New Year… or not.

2013 ends

There is an article entitled Rise of the TSA Robots.

There is an article entitled U.S. Researching Drones That Can Kill Without Human Authorization.

The third article is entitled But, We Didn’t Get to Keep Our Light Bulbs, Either…

So let me get this straight. The government stole my incandescent bulb. That would be the same government that wants drones to make decisions without those damned dirty humans interfering. And just to make things even more obnoxious, they want more automation in airport security.

On a side note, I didn’t have the heart to post any of the Obamacare nightmare stories…

Mikhail Kalashnikov dead at 94

Today, December 23rd 2013, Mikhail Kalashnikov was declared dead. He designed one of the finest battle rifles ever created, the AK-47, “Avtomat Kalashnikov”.

AK-Hunter

AK-47 semiautomatic civilian variant. AK-Hunter

I have fired the AK Hunter, a semi-automatic civilian variant, and I love the way the cable system creates a wonderful trigger pull. I have not had one jam in all of the rounds that I have fired through that rifle. I would not recommend the 7.62x39mm round for hunting deer, but I see it being quite the effective round for the game that it is intended for.

There is a nice article on the history of the AK-47 https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/AK-47 that provides some good information.

My Position on Edward Snowden Remains the Same

Some might wonder how I can advocate that America’s intelligence services eliminate Edward Snowden while simultaneously advocating a drastic reigning in of violations to our privacy.

Snowden left the country with a massive number of classified documents many of which he released to the public. Leaving the country is the issue. Once he did that, he gave up any pretense of being a man. A man stands up and says this is what I believe and I will face the consequences. Snowden is not a man, he is a moron being used by all of America’s enemies. The release of the information is far less damaging than the constant dribbles that continue to undermine American foreign policy. His stance on privacy is right but his methods are completely unacceptable. Just because the NSA is completely wrong does NOT make Snowden’s actions right.

There are those who say that he is concerned for his safety. To those I say what the hell do you expect? You sell out a nation. You endanger people. You take it upon yourself to play God. Okay, face the consequences.

Many have also failed to understand the bigger issue. It is not just the NSA and other intelligence agencies that are a problem. The continual erosion of person rights and the violations of the few rights that remain are being perpetrated by ALL LEVELS of government and by many organizations. While this is happening, the government keeps growing. Maybe those who like big government should think about that? Maybe they should consider that each time they look to expand the government’s options?

It is my sincere hope that if Snowden has a tragic accident soon. If that does not happen, I hope he never sleeps without fear again.

Merry Christmas!

The NSA is Coming to Town

The NSA is out of control and government oversite has been sadly lacking. The senate and house and president, for all of the past few administrations, has been derelict in their responsibilities. The United States is going in a very bad direction and that will have to change.

As much as I hate the ACLU’s insane lefty agenda, I’m going to say the following video is worth watching.

http://youtu.be/8pcWlyUu8U4

You better watch out,
You better not Skype,
You better log out,
Yeah you better not type,
The NSA is coming to town.

You’re making a list,
They’re checking it twice;
They’re watching almost every electronic device,
The NSA is coming to town.

They see you when you’re sleeping
They hear while you’re awake
They know who you call and who you write
So encrypt for goodness’ sake!

With Congress in the dark and a cloak-and-dagger court
We’re lookin’ for answers, they’re comin’ up short
The NSA is coming to town.

They’re making a list,
Checking it twice;
They’re watching almost every electronic device,
NSA is coming to town
The NSA is coming to townhe NSA is coming to town.

So you respect Che Guevara?

¡No Pasarán! had a wonderful post on 11/28/2013. For those stupid college idiots wearing Che Guevara shirts, read some quotes:
http://no-pasaran.blogspot.com/2013/11/che-guevara-in-10-quotes.html

Note that they got the Che quotes from:
http://the-libertarian.co.uk/che-guevara-10-great-quotes/

Che Guevara

1) “Youth must refrain from ungrateful questioning of governmental mandates. Instead, they must dedicate themselves to study, work and military service.”
2) “Youth should learn to think and act as a mass. It is criminal to think as individuals!”
3) “The victory of Socialism is well worth millions of atomic victims!”
4) “We must do away with all newspapers. A revolution cannot be accomplished with freedom of the press.”
5) “To send men to the firing squad, judicial proof is unnecessary. These procedures are an archaic bourgeois detail. This is a revolution! And a revolutionary must become a cold killing machine motivated by pure hate.”
6) “Hatred is the central element of our struggle! Hatred so violent that it propels a human being beyond his natural limitations, making him a violent and cold-blooded killing machine. Our soldiers must be thus.”
7) “The blacks, those magnificent examples of the African race who have conserved their racial purity by a lack of affinity with washing, have seen their patch invaded by a different kind of slave: The Portugese.”
8) “The black is indolent and fanciful, he spends his money on frivolity and drink; the European comes from a tradition of working and saving which follows him to this corner of America and drives him to get ahead.”
9) “I fired a .32 caliber bullet into the right hemisphere of his brain which came out through his left temple. He moaned for a few moments, then died.”
10) “I’d like to confess, Papa, at that moment I discovered that I really like killing.”

The following are my observations and NOT from ¡No Pasarán! nor from The Libertarian:

How are Obama and the Ultra-Lefty Nut-baggers doing on Che’s agenda?
1) Don’t criticize Obama or the government, they know more than you do.
2) Don’t think for yourself… Political correctness anyone?
3) If Iran likes nukes, they can keep nukes.
4) The newspapers in America are doing everything they can to destroy themselves by being lackies to the nut-bag liberal left, or as I call them, the nutbaggers.
5) Anything is acceptable as long as you cloak it in saving the children, women’s rights, diversity, or some insane green initiative. To keep things simple, just call anyone who disagrees with our imperial master a racist. One thing about being a king though, it is good to be king until it isn’t…
6) Obama uses the greed of the greedy shielded by the stories of the needy to generate jealousy and hate.
7) I really have to give Obama a thumbs up on this one. I don’t think he has bathing issues. The college idiots that were protesting Wall Street, however, might want to look into the bathing issue. As to blacks being replaced with Portuguese, he does advocate illegals from Mexico… Can he substitute Mexicans for Portuguese and still follow Che’s beliefs? ¡Se él puede!
8) Obama at the golf course and the insane number of parties at the White House…
9) Obama did pose for a photo with a shotgun… I’ll give Obama credit for not shooting anyone. Dick Cheney should take note of this. Thinking about it further, Obama having someone else do the dirty work for him is very much in line with Che’s life. I’m going to have to take the credit for this one back. I guess this point of contention was too big to fail?
10) Like George Bush, Obama seems to be dedicated to destroying the middle class and the economy. Going beyond Bush, he is also targeting medical care for destruction.

On issue #7, Obama isn’t toeing the Che world view. Other than that one issue, Che would be proud of our clueless leader and the Ultra-left nutbaggers that he represents.
