I love it! NYTimes.com has an article, The Cost of Barack Obama’s Speech.
The liberals were shocked that Obama is whoring himself out to make the bucks… Hello! Did you folks miss the last eight years? The man has no shame.
We are capitalist, we are Americans. I personally do not have problem with him making as much as he can. Did the lib-tards think that, in some mistaken desire to be politically “pure”, he would wander the land as a poor black man going door to door begging for scraps?
He was, is, and will always be all about Obama. He is exactly the man we all thought he was. Sorry lib-tards, your God never was a God, just a snake oil salesman.
Can you say liberal establishment sellout? Repeat after me, I pledge allegiance… Never mind, I think you are finally seeing the man behind the curtains.
Don’t worry, there will be another liberal icon for you to worship soon. They always have another ready to go.
A quick peek at my current list of movies that I might want to look into.
||The Love Witch (2016)
||Keeping Up with the Joneses
||Underworld: Blood Wars
||John Wick Chapter 2
||The Great Wall
||Ghost in the Shell
||Valerian and the City of a Thousand Planets
||Jack Reacher: Never Go Back
Valerian and the City of a Thousand Planets is interesting because of the comic book series that it is based on. Apparently, that series is the basis of a lot of modern sci-fi… It is a foreign series, VALERIAN, AGENTE ESPACIOTEMPORAL Recuerdos de Futuros (Mezieres & Christin), and might be worth looking into.
The article at: http://www.elmundo.es/tecnologia/2015/11/02/56375ca2268e3e275f8b465f.html highlights the Japanese movie Sayonara. Note, the article is in Spanish. The movie will come out in Japanese theaters on November 21st, 2015.
The movies stars a human and a model “Geminoid-F” produced by Ishiguro. The human is playing a seriously ill woman who has been exposed to radiation in a nuclear incident. The robot/android doesn’t walk, but relies on a wheel chair. The actual android is a remote controlled device.
This is the beginning of a new type of production that, I think, will add a variety of possibilities for new plot lines and new approaches to film making.
Unfortunately, they named the movie “Sayonara”. Every tried to search for a film with that name? It is like naming a flick “A”…
Those who say that this is just another chance for humans to be replaced on the job really need to rethink their position on this one. I have NO fear that an android will EVER be able to act as well as a human.
There was a movie in the game Klingon. The game was made for Windows 95. It showed a lot of Klingon dialog and explained a great deal about Klingon society. Unfortunately, the original movie format is damned near impossible to play on any remotely modern system.
Fortunately, there is a copy on Youtube
According to City A.M. Limited, Fifty Shades of Grey has caused a surge in sex toys, lingerie and bondage gear sales.
Am I the only one who thinks the emergency room hospital staffs are about to get one of the greatest circus side shows ever?
Yesterday night, I was thinking about the fact that I had never seen any of the episodes of Stormworld after the ninth. What is Stormworld? It is an Canadian/Australian sci-fi series. A couple of teens accidentally go through a portal and end up on another world with other people from other worlds in the same situation. Twenty-six episodes later, the series ends.
After a simple search, I found the series on youtube. For anyone interested, try http://youtu.be/tJKV7Nf2pkU?list=PL280FEFDEAFDF8684
Stormworld is not a brilliant series, but it is worth a viewing.
I’ve always wondered. You can order a DVD from a region outside of your own. If that DVD has a digital copy, can it be streamed in your country?
No. I have a DVD from amazon.de and I am in the United States. The DVD comes with an Ultraviolet digital copy. The Sony site is very clear about the code begin from a country not covered by the agreement.
Just an interesting piece of trivia. I don’t know anyone, other than myself, who has actually used their Ultraviolet copy anyway.
