Television Series that I Am Trying to Follow

I don't really watch television. I tend to follow television series by finding the DVDs at the local library or, gasp, purchasing the more obscure titles or streaming on Huluplus or Amazon Prime.

Real Humans a/k/a Äkta Människor season 2

A Swedish series that was really hot in Europe, for a season. In my Real Humans review, I mentioned how much I really liked season one! I am dying to see where they go with this one. Will the hubots become even more deadly? Will the humans finally start understanding the situation? While slow paced, it is very well done.

The BBC has the first season of the English language version of the series in the can. I refused to watch it because I just don't think they can improve on the original.

I hope to see the second season of the Swedish version in German, English, or Spanish soon. The only version of the second season I have found so far has a Swedish audio track and French subtitles. Amazon.de is not mentioning the language issue on their site, but they offer a DVD version. Amazon.com only offers the Blu-ray version, but they at least tell you about the languages! I don't speak French and will not be going with either find. This may be one of those series that takes a while to find in a language that is comprehensible.

GATE season 2

I am LOVING this anime! The characters are fun and the story line takes place in a parallel world where the Japanese Defense Force is sent in to take care of business.

Lucifer

Usually would not be my cup of tea, but it is so shallow, that I am loving it. The characters really don't add up and the series is on shakey ground.

Second Chance

This is a good series. I like the characters, I like the stories, and I like where it is headed.

Shadow Hunters

Why the hell am I watching this one? Are my brains dripping out my ears? I have no excuse!

The characters are vapid. The story lines are weak. This is a craptastic series. I just can not turn from the train-wreck!
